We’re delighted to share that the new Churchyard welcome sign has now been installed – and it looks fantastic.
The sign highlights the rich history of the Churchyard and offers visitors a warm introduction to this special place.
This project has been a real community effort. Thank you to Moretonhampstead History Society for providing the historical information, to our photo competition winners — Catherine Fileman-Wright, Edmund Tugwell, Heather Sheppard and David Walker — for their wonderful images, to the Church for their support with permissions, and to SJB Signs for creating and installing the finished sign.
We hope the new sign helps visitors enjoy and appreciate the fascinating history of the Churchyard.
