Moretonhampstead Parish Council is the first tier of local government and the one closest to the community, serving Moretonhampstead’s residents, businesses and visitors. The Parish Council operates at a level below the District and County Councils and can help on a number of local issues, such as providing play areas and grants to help local organisations. Contractors have confirmed that works on the B3212 will now finish on 22 May, following delays caused by weather, difficult ground conditions, and the need to work around extensive scaffolding. Additional drainage and resurfacing improvements are also being completed.
Devon County Council will carry out surface dressing and associated works across Teignbridge between May and September 2026. Roads will close for short periods, with advance warning signs placed locally. Full details are available in the attached DCC leaflets.
