A Fantastic Morning at the Annual Parish Meeting Coffee Morning
A well‑attended and lively Annual Parish Meeting coffee morning brought together local groups, councillors and residents.

The Annual Parish Meeting coffee morning held on Saturday 4th April was a wonderful success, with a great turnout and a warm, friendly atmosphere throughout the morning. It was fantastic to see so many residents joining us to catch up, share ideas and hear from the wide range of groups who play such an important role in our community.
We were delighted to welcome representatives from the Swimming Pool, Community Speedwatch, Carnival Committee, MED Theatre, Twinning Association, Community Shed, PCSO Wilson, County Councillor Richard Keeling, District Councillor John Farrand‑Rogers, the Neighbourhood Highways Officer and the DNPA Ranger. Their displays and conversations helped make the event both informative and engaging.
A huge thank you to everyone who supported the cake stall — together we raised £120 for Hospiscare, a brilliant contribution to a much‑valued local charity.
We have also shared images from the council’s annual presentation, which provides a clear summary of our work over the past year.
Thank you again to everyone who came along and helped make the morning such a positive community event.
