Services
Playpark
The Parish Council is responsible for maintaining the playpark to ensure it remains safe, clean and enjoyable for children and families throughout the year.
Weekly Visual Inspections
We carry out weekly visual inspections of all equipment and the surrounding area. These checks look for:
- Wear or damage to equipment
- Issues with surfacing
- Broken fencing or gates
- Litter, debris or hazards
- Any signs of vandalism
Weekly inspections help us identify issues early so they can be dealt with promptly.
Annual RoSPA Inspection
Once a year, the playpark receives a full independent inspection by RoSPA Play Safety. This detailed assessment checks all equipment and surfacing against national safety standards (EN 1176) and provides recommendations for ongoing maintenance.
Maintenance and Repairs
Routine maintenance is carried out as needed, including tightening fixings, replacing worn parts, and addressing any issues raised during inspections.
Reporting Concerns
If you notice anything that doesn’t look right, please report it directly to the Parish Clerk. Community reporting helps us keep the playpark safe for everyone.
