Open Spaces

The Parish Council is working towards managing verges and open spaces to encourage the growth of wild flowers and to support insect and small vertebrate habitats.  It is balancing this with a need to keep sight lines clear at road junctions and maintain a cared for appearance in areas of the churchyard where graves are regularly tended.

The Parish Council are responsible for the grass verges around Chagford Cross roundabout, the Sentry, St Andrew’s Churchyard, the Pound and the Henge.

The Parish Council is responsible for the Sentry; if your group or organisation wish to use the Sentry for an event please complete the Sentry Hirer Agreement and return to the Clerk.

The Parish Council secured the funding for the Play park in the Sentry and are responsible for its maintenence.
