Juliane Montgomery

Born in Berlin I have lived in Devon for nearly 40 years and moved to Moretonhampstead in 2024.
I enjoy life and community in Moreton immensely, especially after 20 years on a remote smallholding.
My work background is in architecture and before in mental health as an occupational therapist.
I have two adult sons who went to Spreyton Primary where I was a governor. Now I visit schools all over Devon in the capacity as magistrate to engage with pupils and students about democracy and the justice system.
For health and enjoyment I walk, cycle, swim, act, sing and craft – all at a leisurely pace.
